Position Overview
Perform (preventative) maintenance on technical installations and facilities to ensure an optimal production environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preventing the occurrence of future electrical problems, by performing scheduled maintenance, in line with the maintenance plan.
- Performing daily check-ups to make sure that all machines work correctly and to minimise the downtime of the production lines.
- Checking cables and electrical connections of machinery and equipment (e.g. motors, sensors, pumps and compressors).
- Reading technical drawings, manuals and machine instructions.
- Locating the root cause of the problem by examining the machine, performing measurements and tests.
What We’re Looking For:
- MBO Level 4 qualification in a technical field with maintenance experience.
- Insight into all installations and facilities.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, ventilators).
- Knowledge of all (preventive) maintenance procedures and schedules.
- Understanding of factory processes.
- Ability to use assigned tools and measuring devices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, machine manuals and electrical diagrams.
- Knowledge of ISO/BRC standards, HACCP principles and health & safety regulations (NEN 3140/1010).
- Good command of the English language.
