SENIOR ELECTRICIAN

Maintenance Shifts: 2 Helmond Vacation days: €3 300 - €4 500

As a Senior Electrician, you work in 2 shifts. You are responsible to perform (preventative) maintenance on technical installations and facilities to ensure an optimal production environment.

What else are you responsible for?

  • Creating proposals for the preventive maintenance plan and updating.
  • Preventing the occurrence of future electrical problems, by performing scheduled maintenance, in line with the maintenance plan.
  • Locating the root cause of problems by examining the machines, performing measurements and tests.
  • Interpreting the measured values and determining the best repair method.
  • Looking for a quick solution for machine breakdowns to minimise production downtimes.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement, to secure a smooth and trouble-free operation of machines.

What will a week look like as a Senior Electrician?

  • You perform daily check-ups to make sure that all machines work correctly and to minimise the downtime of the production lines.
  • You check cables and electrical connections of machinery and equipment (e.g. motors, sensors, pumps and compressors).
  • You use measuring and diagnostic devices to evaluate the working of electrical components.
  • You perform installation and electro-fitting works.

  • You read technical drawings, manuals and machine instructions.
  • Repairing or replacing parts with tools and rectifying faults in circuits and the electrical part of machines.
  • Requesting assistance in case of complex breakdowns.
  • Participating in the implementation of new (investment) projects.
  • Supporting (external) electricians in installing new production lines.
  • Proposing and performing technical improvements on the facility.

Who are you?

  • You have basic knowledge of Allen Bradley.
  • You have experience with electrical systems and components.
  • You have good knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, ventilators).
  • You have good knowledge of all (preventive) maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • You have good understanding of factory processes.
  • You have the ability to use assigned tools and measuring devices.
  • You have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, machine manuals and electrical diagrams.
  • You have knowledge of ISO/BRC standards, HACCP principles and health & safety regulations (NEN 3140/1010).
  • You have good command of the English language.
  • You have secondary vocational education level 4 (MBO niv. 4).
